I saw the film last saturday. Je ne vous parlerai pas de "la fille du RER" vu hier soir, qui vraiment ne vaut pas le détour, malgré la palette d'acteurs alléchante. So I saw Gran Torino last saturday. I mainly wanted to see that film beacuse it was a way of listen to this beautiful language, I like so much : American. It didn't know at all what the film dealt with, but Clint Eastwood is a reference.
Ouch ! What a film ! I has the idea it was a film dealing with primal violence, something like a man getting fed up with being teased by a gang and finally shooting its members to recover peace in the neighbourhood.
But I was totally wrong. No, it's all about true faith and doubts about believing...
...it's about racism and conversion of the heart, caregiving and loving those Walt coudn't stand before because of his own injuries from war.
...It's about thinking to do the right thing... And you, for those who saw the film, what would you have done ?
It's about all that. It turns you upside down ! I won't tell you more, for you to rush the cinema. Go, you won't be desappointed. It's full of suspense and you will laugh too.

Thank you M. Eastwood. Here is a Grand film ! The one you need, when you slip down slowly and insidiously towards hate of the others...
By the way, did you know that the Gran Torino was the famous car of Starsky & Hutch repainted ?
Well, enough talking for today. Enjoy this sunday,
Géraldine
